This is a great Karate school. The staff are excellent at what they do, very great with children and adults. My kids love it and so do I. I started taking the adult class about a month or so ago. I have lost weight and am getting in shape, and to top it all off I'm learning a lot and loving it:)
My grand daughter attended for the first time on Monday, and she fell in love with it. The kids have a lot of fun as well as learning important things for every day life. The best part for parents is you can watch your child as they are learning. I give the school an A+!
We started our 5 year old here in March and we have already seen a marked improvement in his self control and behavior, he is learning to control his body and be more aware of others. Our little guy loves his instructors and has a feeling of pride every time he learns a new move. I would recommend this dojo to anyone interested in getting their child started in martial arts.
We have been attending karate here for 5 months. My son loves it and is always excited for karate nights. He is learning discipline and how to help others. Tonight he cleaned the kitchen up all my hisself without even being asked. I highly recommend OKS! All the staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the students.
It is awesome how they work, train and play with the kids. They teach and coach the kids to be upstanding, fine, respectful young people. They also teach them to have fun.
This Karate dojo is very beneficial to the youth as well as adults in that it does an effective job in teaching them the value of hard work. One major factor that sets this dojo apart from other dojos is the emphasis the instructors put on actually mastering the material and techniques for each level before advancing to the next level. Many dojos will advance students due to "time in rank" without properly ensuring that they are prepared for advancement. The sensei of this school truly pushes and encourages the students to be at their best and to achieve their goals. Adult students will effectively learn to utilize some of the ancient weapons of Japanese culture. Overall, this is.a great environment to train in martial arts.
